Seven Sajada began in Copenhagen with a simple wish: a prayer mat that feels as special as the moment you use it.

We design every pattern ourselves and make each piece in Turkey with local craftspeople: prayer mats with a soft, fine viscose pile and a durable cotton back, and tasbih with 99 natural gemstone beads and sterling silver details.

What size is a Seven Sajada prayer mat?

Our prayer mats measure 117.5 × 68.5 cm and weigh about 0.65 kg, a full-size prayer mat with room for standing, bowing and sujood. Sizes can vary very slightly between production runs.

What are the prayer mats made of?

A combination of polyester, cotton and viscose. The top is a short, fine viscose pile with the design printed directly on it, which gives a soft, shiny and detailed look. The back is polyester and cotton for a sturdy, durable finish.

Are the tasbih beads real gemstones?

Yes. Every Seven Sajada tasbih (misbaha) has 99 natural gemstone beads with sterling silver separators and cubic zirconia details, handmade in Turkey. Because the stones are natural, colour and pattern differ slightly from piece to piece.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we ship worldwide from Copenhagen. Shipping is always free to Germany, France, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and Poland. For other countries, the shipping price is shown at checkout.

What is the difference between a tasbih and a misbaha?

There is none. Tasbih (also spelled tasbeeh) and misbaha are two names for the same Islamic prayer beads, used to count dhikr.
